DIY Baby Sensory Toy

If your baby is like mine then she loves to pull every single baby wipe out of the container and spread them all over the living room floor. I, on the other hand, don’t like the idea of possibly wasting wipes or stuffing them unorganized back into the box. Call me crazy but I like the wipes in the package nice and neat, not a big stuffed ball of mess. I had a problem. I found a solution. Her very own “Cloth Wipe Box”!! OK, so I haven’t been able to come up with a clever name for it yet. You guys out there are pretty smart, any ideas?

The “Cloth Wipe Box” is really easy to make.

All you need is:

  1. Empty Wipe Box
  2. Small scraps of fabric (I bought two pre-buddled fabric packages from Wal-Mart which ended up being too much fabric, one would be plenty.)
  3. Scissors

Directions:

  1. Cut fabric in small squares, about the size of a baby wipe.
  2. Stuff small squares into empty box.
  3. Let baby enjoy her new toy!!

Tell me what you think! Anyone else have any simple DIY baby toys?
