What is for Dinner?

**** I changed hosting sites and lost all my pictures. I replaced the pictures on all my posts. However, I can not find my pictures for the Taco Log. 😦 As soon as I either find them or take new ones I will get them back on here.  I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

It can be hard coming up with a dinner menu every week. I am always looking for new and easy recipes. This is a recipe that was given to me by one of my dear friends. I love it and so does the family!!

Taco Log

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package taco seasoning

Cooking Directions:

Step 1 – Pre-Heat oven according to the crescent roll package. I used Pillsbury biscuits which called for 350°.

Step 2 – Cook and crumble ground beef until no pink is left.

Step 3 – While ground beef is cooking place rolls onto tray, open with bottom sides together and overlapping.

Step 4 – After ground beef is cooked fully, drain.

Step 5 – Place ground beef back in pan. Add taco seasoning and mix well.

Step 6 – Place ground beef in middle of crescent rolls, and top with cheese.

Step 7 – Pull edges of crescent rolls over the ground beef so when it is done it looks like a log.

Step 8 – Place Taco Log into oven, cook for as long as crescent package indicates. The Pillsbury biscuits said 10-12 minutes.

Step 9 – Serve!! I served mine with Rice-A-Roni Mexican Rice. I also had sour cream, black olives, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and taco sauce to serve on top of the Taco Log.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe. Visit back for more great recipe ideas in the future!
